After a weekend of temperatures nearly 15 degrees above normal, the feeling of fall will finally arrive for a long dry spell on Monday.
Saturday's forecast high of 89 in Paducah will far surpass the historic daily average of 76 degrees, and could even approach the record of 91 set in 2018. The forecast high of 88 on Sunday won't challenge the record 95 set in 1938.
The usual morning low this weekend is 52.
Big changes come Sunday night with a cold front that usher in north winds and a much cooler high of 72. That'll be the story for all of next week as highs remain in the mid 70s and lows slip into the upper 40s.
Dry weather will continue all next week and beyond.
