Crash on I-69 sends Graves teen to the hospital

A Thursday afternoon crash along I-69 sent a Graves County teen to the hospital.

The crash occurred around 3 p.m. near the 23-mile marker when a pickup driven by 18-year-old Mystic Mangrum ran off the right side of the road and became airborne as it crossed through a ditch, then came back across both lanes to hit the center divider.

Deputies believe Mangrum may have fallen asleep or lost conciousness which caused the crash.

Mangrum was taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield with minor injuries.
