A welfare check in the Farley area Saturday evening led to the arrest of a Paducah woman.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Department reports that the check took place at 8:09 pm, after being notified that drugs were present in the home.
While executing a search warrant, suspected methamphetamine and prescription pills that were not in the original container were allegedly found.
Minor children were living at the home, and they were placed with other family members.
Forty-year-old Laura Hagan was arrested on charges of drug offenses, tampering with physical evidence, and wanton endangerment.
Hagan was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
