Paducah chef Sara Bradley, owner of the Freight House, has been named to the James Beard Foundation Awards semi-finalist list.
The James Beard Foundation Awards are voted by more than 600 culinary professionals to recognize chefs, restauranteurs, authors and journalists in the United States.
The honor comes just as Bradley is set to make another national TV appearance. She'll be a competitor in Guy Fieri's Tournament of Champions beginning March 2nd.
It's the sixth season for the eight-week bracket-style competition. This year's roster of 32 chefs will include all four previous champions, competing for a $150,000 cash prize.
Bradley was the grand champion of the Food Network's "Chopped" Legends series last fall.
She was runner-up in 2016's "Top Chef: Kentucky" and runner-up in "Top Chef: World All-Stars."
