McCracken Sheriff's Office warns of scam link involving Louisville toll roads

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office is warning of a scam link which references Louisville toll roads.

A wrong link that resembles the authentic link to the roads is being used to scam payments from users.

The toll roads authentic link can be found at riverlink.com.

However, the scam link is using an address of River-link.net.

The Sheriff's Office advises that when this website is displayed, none of the links can be used, EXCEPT the "pay" button.

Texts have been received saying that toll charges are owed, and the balance can be paid by clicking the link to avoid late charges.

They advise being careful to avoid this scam, and also to use caution clicking on any links.
