Two Paducah residents were arrested Monday on theft and other charges.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office was called to a business in the 4700 block of Cairo Road Monday afternoon after a complaint of retail theft.

The suspect, 37-year-old Matthew J. Rogers and an accomplice were located Monday evening.  Rogers was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a probation violation along with theft by unlawful taking and illegal possession of a legend drug.

Also arrested was 23-year-old Britney Burlingame, who had an outstanding bench warrant.  Investigators also found drugs, drug paraphernalia and items taken from the theft in the vehicle.

Both were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
