This year's Big Brown Truck Pull for Special Olympics is happening Saturday at Heartland Church in Paducah.

Beginning at 2 p.m., teams of 15 will grab the rope and take turns pulling a UPS 18-wheeler cargo truck for 12 feet. The fastest pull times will win trophies in men’s women’s, co-ed, youth and pee wee divisions.

There are also awards for top fundraising team, top fundraising individuals, best team t-shirt and most team spirit.

Entry for each team is a minimum of $750. You can still sign up a team by clicking here .

This year's goal is to raise $35,000 to provide funding for all McCracken County athletes to compete in basketball, bowling, softball and cheer leading, as well as track and field year-round on the local, regional and state level, traveling to tournaments in Bowling Green, Richmond and Louisville.
