The event will take place on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Walker Hall, 229 Madison Street, Paducah. Cocktails begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m.
Child Watch Counseling and Advocacy Center will be present to share how, thanks to a grant from the Kentucky Bar Foundation, they are providing mentoring and case management to students facing truancy charges as a result of educational neglect or child abuse.

Cartwright was selected for the award because of his embodiment of the mission of the Bar Foundation with his spirit of service to the community and dedication to the legal profession.
All proceeds will benefit the KBF, which serves as the charitable arm of Kentucky's legal community. Organizations in Western Kentucky that have received KBF support include Child Watch Children’s Advocacy Center (Paducah), Forget-Me-Not Children’s Center (Benton), Hopkinsville High School Mock Trial Team, Kentucky Legal Aid, Lotus (Paducah – formerly Purchase Area Sexual Assault & Child Advocacy Center), Mayfield-Graves County Child Advocacy Program, Inc., Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center (Paducah), Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky (Paducah), Sanctuary, Inc. (Hopkinsville), and Soup for the Soul (Murray).
