6-year-old airlifted after rollover crash in Princeton

A rollover crash near Princeton sent a 6-year-old to a Nashville hospital.

According to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office, 31-year-old Kara Alsobrook was driving on US 62 just east of Princeton when she reportedly lost control on the rain-slick road. Her car struck a guardrail and an embankment before it came to rest on its top in a ditch.  

Alsobrook's son was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Caldwell Medical Center, then airlifted to Vanderbilt Pediatric in Nashville.  Alsobrook sustained minor injuries but refused treatment.
