A Paducah man was arrested Sunday afternoon after a chase and crash, reportedly in a stolen vehicle.

According to Paducah Police, 50-year-old Michael Swanagan was stopped on Irvin Cobb Drive after officers confirmed the vehicle he was driving was stolen out of Calloway County.

After stopping, Swanagan fled onto Bridge Street, and then to South 9th Street, where he lost control of the vehicle in the 1400 block, and it rolled over three times according to witnesses.

Swanagan was not injured in the crash and faces multiple charges, including receiving stolen property over $1,000, wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police, and several traffic offenses.

He was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
