A crash Friday night in Reidland sent two people to a Paducah hospital and resulted in a DUI arrest.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to the intersection of US 68 and Kentucky Dam Road for an injury crash.

An investigation determined that a vehicle driven by 55-year-old Tara Cornett of Paducah, was struck by another vehicle, of which the driver had left the scene on foot.

A short time later, a female was seen in the middle of Stiles Road near Cindy Drive, and was identified as 52-year-old Tracy Youngblood, also of Paducah.

Deputies found that Youngblood was the driver of the vehicle that struck Cornett's vehicle, and was reportedly intoxicated.

Cornett and Youngblood were taken to a Paducah hospital for treatment.

After being medically cleared by hospital staff, Youngblood was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail. Charges included DUI, criminal mischief, wanton endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to render aid or assistance.
