A stop and a streak along I-24 Saturday landed a Nashville man in jail on drug charges.

It happened on Saturday afternoon near the 63-mile marker in Trigg County. Trigg County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle along the interstate and the driver, 28-year-old Lamar Leggs of Nashville, hopped out of the car and took off running naked down the side of the interstate. Leggs claimed to want to "save" the deputies as he ran from them.

When deputies searched his car they found an LSD pill. Leggs was arrested and charged with public intoxication, possession of LSD, indecent exposure, and fleeing or evading police.
