Three McCracken County High School students were selected to attend the Governor's School for Entrepreneurs this summer.
McCracken County juniors named to the program include Andrew Farmer, Robert Powless, and Mariane Puerollano.
The program, which takes place at Northern Kentucky University, is a highly competitive summer program where high school students can focus on product innovation and business model design.
Participants are selected through a competitive process not including grade-point averages or test scores.
The application is structured to identify problem-solvers who want to roll up their sleeves and dive head-first into meaningful work.
The first session will run from June 11 until July 1, with the second season set for July 9-29.
