The City of Paducah invites residents to attend upcoming Neighborhood Conversation meetings to learn how to improve their neighborhood's health, safety, and beauty.
Attendees will meet code enforcement officers with the Paducah police and fire departments to ensure that properties are safe and compliant with Paducah's ordinances. They'll explain about residents' responsibilities for property maintenance, such as high grass and weeds violations.
Police will have tips for making your home less attractive to criminals.
Staff will also be available to provide information on topics including curbside recycling, stormwater and drainage, Spring Clean Up Day, Paducah Citizens' Academy, and more ways to keep Paducah safe and attractive.
The Paducah Fire Prevention Division and the Paducah Police Department are hosting three meetings:
- Monday, March 24, 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Robert Cherry Civic Center.
- Monday, March 31, 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the W.C. Young Community Center.
- Monday, April 14, 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Kentucky Oaks Mall Community Room next to Dillard's.
