Jerome Peirano

Jerome (Jerry) Anthony Peirano II, 81, of New Concord, KY, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Born March 20, 1944, in Suffern, New York to Jerome and Marion (Zachek) Peirano. Grew up Mahwah, New Jersey. He was an Alter Boy and Eagle Scout. Jerry graduated St. Francis College in Loretto, PA in 1965, with a BA in History. Married Linda Zaleski (love of his life) November 1966. He worked at Continental Can Company, United States Can Company, Del Monte Foods Container Division and Silgan Container Corporation. Jerry retired in 2000 after living in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Michigan, and Kentucky.

He is survived by loving wife, Linda (Zaleski) Peirano, children, Denise (Dan) Rowlett (Hampshire, IL), Jay (Bonnie) Peirano (Tampa, FL), Chrissie Peirano (Tampa, FL) and David (Missy) Peirano (Chattanooga, TN). Six grandchildren, Alexandra and Max Rowlett (Denise), Eva and Carly Peirano (Jay) Sophia and Dominic Peirano (David).

Jerry was so proud of his family and he especially enjoyed the Peirano Family Reunions at Ford Lake in Michigan. He was a devoted patriot and had a passion for American Eagles, which he displayed throughout his home. He loved landscaping and taking his bride fishing. Spending time with his grandkids brought his tremendous joy. We miss and Love you dad.

A private family funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at St. Leo Catholic Church and a private burial will follow at Murray City Cemetery.
