Mayfield Police make arrest in equipment parts thefts

Mayfield Police have made an arrest in the case of a series of thefts from Industrial Park Drive. 

The theft of equipment parts occurred last Wednesday. As officers looked into the case, they used surveillance video to identify a vehicle and its owner. As they reviewed the footage, they could tell the driver at the time of the thefts was not the owner of that vehicle.

On Thursday, officers went to see the vehicle's owner. While at the home on Meridian Road, they discovered 47-year-old Shannon White was there, as well. While talking to White, she allegedly admitted to driving the vehicle and taking items from the Industrial Park Drive area and selling them for scrap outside Graves County.  

White was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking under $10,000.
