Overnight road work to take place Sunday night in McCracken County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans an overnight work zone lane restriction along Interstate 24 westbound from the KY 305 Paducah Exit 3 Interchange extending across the I-24 Ohio River Bridge starting at 10 pm Sunday.

The work zone for I-24 westbound traffic beginning around the 3 mile marker is to allow brush cutting, pothole patching, and debris removal along the I-24 Ohio River Bridge approach.  

The work zone restriction will extend across the Ohio River bridge to Illinois.

The work will conclude at 6 am Monday.
