Motorcyclist dies after hitting deer in west McCracken County

A McCracken County man died after he reportedly hit a deer and crashed his motorcycle on Wednesday night.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred in the 11000 block of Ogden Landing Road. Ballard County deputies also responded.

Deputies said investigation showed that the 32-year-old driver of the Slingshot three-wheeled motorcycle hit a deer and rolled over.

The man was taken to an area hospital by ambulance, where he later died.

The driver's name was not released.
