Mayfield man jailed on drug charges

A Mayfield man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in Marshall County Thursday.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said 41 year old Richard Heard's vehicle was stopped on Gilbertsville Highway at Cirrito Lane.

Heard was charged with possession of a controlled substance and other traffic offenses.
