Local state police troopers recognized for DUI enforcement efforts

Three local state police troopers were recognized last month for their DUI enforcement efforts.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving hosted their inaugural Kentucky Law Enforcement Recognition Event in Frankfort on June 29.

During the ceremony, Troopers Eric West, Landon Stewart, and Tyler Bloodworth were recognized for arresting more than 25 impaired drivers in a single year.

Bloodworth, a two year veteran of the agency, was praised for showing an early dedication to impaired driving enforcement; Stewart is a four year veteran and the previous recipient of the 2020 Governor's Impaired Driving Enforcement Award; and West, an eight year veteran, has consistently arrested over 25 impaired drivers each year.
