A dangerous inmate who escaped from jail in western Kentucky last week has been captured.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office posted this morning that Michael Phillips was apprehended in Tennessee and is lodged at the Carroll County Jail in Huntington.
Phillips escaped through the recreation yard at the Fulton County Detention Center one week ago on Tuesday, October 10.
Phillips was jailed on felony charges of sodomy, incest with a victim under 12, criminal abuse, indecent exposure and terroristic threatening.
