The National Weather Service in Paducah is posting this morning that the possibility of severe weather looks fairly favorable on Sunday afternoon and evening.
The weather service says it's too early to predict storm timing or locations with any precision.
They do mention that all modes of severe weather will be possible, including damaging wind gusts, large hail or tornadoes.
This week's forecast mentions periods of showers and thundershowers beginning Thursday, then multiple rounds of thundershowers Friday night through the weekend.
Temperatures by Friday through the weekend could be in the mid to upper 70s.
