On Saturday May 10, Mayfield and Graves County badges will face off in their annual softball game.
The "Battle of the Badges" will pit the Mayfield police and fire departments against the Graves County Sheriff's office and Graves County Jail and RCC.
The contest is presented at the Mayfield-Graves County ballpark by the Mayfield Lions Club as a fundraiser for New Pathways and New Beginning.
The true highlight of the day may be the food prepared by Graves County jail chief Deputy Pete Jackson. Plates of fish, hush puppies, fries and a drink will go on sale beginning at 5:30 for $20 a plate.
The ball game will start at 6 p.m.
There'll also be several donated items up for auction.
