The Mayfield Police Department made an arrest recently concerning vandalism of a Kess Creek Park bathroom in November.
On November 9th, officers learned of extensive damage to the women’s bathroom including metal partitions between the toilets torn down. The estimated cost to replace the damaged property was over $2,000.
Police studied footage from the park's surveillance camera system, and identified 20-year-old Kennedie Mohney of Mayfield as a suspect, along with a 14-year-old juvenile.
Mohney turned herself in on December 21st. Mohney was charged with criminal mischief, tampering with physical evidence, and unlawful transaction with a minor.
