Operation Christmas Child collecting shoeboxes this week

It's dropoff week for everyone who has filled up a shoebox with gifts for kids around the world through Operation Christmas Child.

The mission and relief organization Samaritan's Purse is partnering with thousands of churches to deliver the gifts and the Gospel to 12 million children this Christmas, part of more than 220 million since 1993.

Now through Sunday, local dropoff locations collecting your shoeboxes include:

La Center - Grace Church
Mayfield - High Point Baptist
