West Tennessee basketball team takes 4th straight undefeated state title, 130-0 record

Three consecutive state championships and undefeated seasons itself is nothing short of astounding, but a fourth consecutive undefeated state championship?

That is exactly what the Elmore Park Middle School Eagles from Bartlett accomplished Saturday, defeating Sevier County 60-28 for their fourth consecutive Tennessee AAA middle school state championship.

The win ran the Eagles' season record to 34-0, and makes their four year record an unbelievable 130-0.

The 130-game winning streak is certainly one of, if not the longest of any basketball team, at any level, in the United States. The four consecutive titles with perfect seasons in each is a first at any level in basketball in the state of Tennessee.
