Year-long restrictions coming to KY 121 in Calloway County

A long-term lane restriction is scheduled to start Oct. 23 on KY 121 in Calloway County to begin work on a bridge replacement project.

The bridge over Blood River, located half a mile west of Dunbar Road at New Concord, will be replaced in two phases.

Before demolition of the eastbound half begins, crews will install temporary railing and barrier wall, along with a temporary traffic signal.

The restriction will remain in place until completion, expected in October 2026.
