Marshall County Sheriff reminds residents of property tax season

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office is reminding residents that property tax collection season is upon us.

The Sheriff's Office said they will begin collecting property taxes on Wednesday and reminded residents the bills were mailed out last Friday so residents should begin receiving them this week. They also said the 2% discount period will run October 15th until November 15th. 

Anyone with questions in regards to payments can always call their office at 270-527-3112. 

There is a website that will be active on the 15th that residents can view and or pay their bill at marshallcountyky.gov. They said to just choose the Sheriff under the department category.
