Michael Williams has won the race to become the Livingston County Judge Executive.

Williams defeated Teris Swanson by 395 votes to fill the unexpired term of Garrett Gruber, who resigned in January to resume his military career. Swanson, an attorney, left her post at a law firm in Paducah after she was appointed to the post by Governor Andy Beshear.

Williams, a businessman, former Livingston County Sheriff's deputy, and Kentucky State Trooper, was narrowly defeated by Garrett Gruber in 2022.
