Slight risk of severe storms on Tuesday

It will be cool today, and portions of the region will see scattered showers and storms, mainly in southeast Missouri, southwest Illinois and far west Kentucky. 

Monday will be dry and much warmer with lots of sunshine. 

Stormy conditions will arrive Tuesday and continue through Thursday night, with a slight risk (level 2 out of 5) for some severe storms possible Tuesday afternoon and evening.
