US 60 back open after west McCracken crash sends Missouri woman to hospital

A crash Sunday evening on US 60 in western McCracken County closed westbound lanes for several hours, and sent a Missouri woman to a Paducah hospital.

McCracken County Sheriff's deputies were called at approximately 6:40 pm to the area of US 60 and Ashland Avenue.

Deputies said a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Makika Murray, of Bertrand, collided with a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Christopher Orenish of La Center.

A trailer attached to Orenish's vehicle overturned, damaging the roadway.

Murray was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
