Fire causes damage at Lyon County campground

The Eddyville Fire Department was called to Indian Point Campground on Lake Barkley Wednesday night.

They found two campers fully involved, with the fire threatening two additional campers. In spite of strong winds, firefighters contained the fires and protected the adjacent vehicles.

A thermal imaging camera was used to ensure all remaining hot spots were extinguished. 

No injuries were reported.
