Wanted Murray man arrested after fleeing police

A wanted Murray man was arrested after running from police.

Calloway County Sheriff's deputies stopped to talk to 28-year-old Tyler Figueroa as he was walking down Lancaster Road near KY 94. After an ID check, the deputy discovered that Figueroa had an outstanding warrant related to an incident that Murray Police investigated on January 25th.

Figueroa was asked to stop by deputies but fled on foot. He allegedly resisted once they caught up to him.

Figueroa was charged with assault and strangulation according to the warrant. He was additionally charged with fleeing or evading police and resisting arrest.
