Up to an inch of rain in places today will give way to a drier, cooler weekend, but next week turns right back around with above normal temperatures and the chance for severe weather on Tuesday and Thursday.
The National Weather Service says the weekend will start off cool with drier air from the north. High temperatures on Saturday will be slightly below normal in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Daily 80s return to start off the new work week, then a risk for strong to potentially severe storms arrives Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening, and possibly again on Thursday.
In between, there may also be the potential for heavy rainfall on Wednesday.
