KYTC will begin a nighttime work zone  along Interstate 24 from the Cumberland River Bridge to KY 293 in Lyon County starting on Friday.

This is between the bridge on the Livingston-Lyon County Line to near I-24 Exit 45.

Crews will work in three-mile sections, removing reflective striping and sealing cracks in the asphalt

Traffic on Interstate 24 will be restricted to one lane from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., alternating between eastbound and westbound lanes.

The work zone will have a reduced speed limit of 55 mph.

Night work also continues on I-24 in McCracken County. Crews will be working in three-mile sections to seal pavement cracks starting about Monday, April 28. Work is expected to be completed on Thursday.
