A wanted Gilbertsville man will face new drug charges after his arrest in Calloway County on Wednesday.
Deputies stopped a vehicle on US 641 in Murray, and the passenger, identified as 50-year-old Michael Melton, was found to have a parole violation warrant.
A search reportedly uncovered 6.3 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia, and pills.
Melton was served with the warrant and additionally charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a legend drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was taken to the Calloway County jail.
