A water rescue took place in McCracken County on Monday after a driver disregarded a barricade.
Just after 6 p.m. Monday, Concord Fire was called to Noble Road near Meredith Road for a vehicle stuck in flood waters with a driver trying to climb out. There was a "Road Closed" sign in place when the man drove into the water.
Drivers are reminded not to move or drive around barricades as not only does that put them at risk, it also puts first responders at risk.
