A traffic stop Tuesday and subsequent search of a residence in Carlisle County nets four arrests for methamphetamine.

Carlisle County Sheriff’s deputies said they stopped 36-year-old Destiny Holder of Columbus for a traffic violation at the intersection of US 51 and KY 80 in Arlington when K9 Axel alerted to the presence of drugs in the vehicle.

According to deputies, a vehicle search revealed a baggie containing five grams of methamphetamine, scales and marijuana. At the same time, a passenger, 60-year-old Becky Sims of Columbus, allegedly was found to have a meth pipe.

Evidence from the stop resulted in a search warrant for a residence in Bardwell. Kentucky State Police said they searched the home where they found the owner, 37-year-old Aaron Fisher of Bardwell, and 48-year-old Lavon Davidson in the house.

Troopers said they allegedly seized 26.6 grams of meth, suboxone, marijuana, scales and a handgun. Davidson was found to have marijuana, meth and a shotgun.

Holder was charged with disregarding a stop sign, trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of marijuana, while Sims was charged with possession of meth. Fisher was charged with trafficking meth with a firearm enhancement, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and possession of marijuana. Davidson was charged with possession of meth and marijuana.
