A traffic stop Monday afternoon ended with a home search and three people headed to jail facing trafficking charges.

A Livingston County Sheriff’s deputy spotted 46-year-old Jason Millikan Sr behind the wheel at around 1 p.m. Monday. The deputy knew Millikan’s licence was suspended, so he stopped the vehicle. Inside, along with Millikan, were 51-year-old Susan Binkley and 19-year-old Jason Millikan Jr. Also in the vehicle, deputies reportedly found about 10 grams of methamphetamine, a pound of marijuana, paraphernalia typically a part of trafficking, and a handgun.

Those findings prompted deputies to obtain and serve a search warrant at Millikan’s home in Grand Rivers. There, they are said to have found more meth, marijuana, and another gun.

Deputies arrested all three and charged Millikan Sr and Jr  with firearm-enhanced trafficking in meth and marijuana.

Millikan Sr was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, an outstanding warrant from Lyon County, and a host of traffic violations.

Binkley was charged with trafficking in meth and possession of marijuana.

The investigation is continuing.
