Kentucky Educational Television is making some tough decisions while facing cuts from the federal government.
Due to the expected passage of the Recissions Act, which would cut federal funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Kentucky Educational Television announced on Thursday that it will not cover this year's Fancy Farm Picnic in Graves County.
In addition, according to The Murray Sentinel, KET has also scrapped plans to take the programs Kentucky Edition and Kentucky Tonight to Murray for a week in September to highlight the region.
