Three Kentucky State Police troopers assigned to Post 1 in Mayfield were recognized at an event in Frankfort for receiving promotions.
Trooper Nathan M. Clinkenbeard, Trooper Joshua L. Neace, and Trooper Brian D. Hill were all promoted to the rank of sergeant. The three were among nineteen troopers who were recognized at the event presided over by Kentucky State Police Commissioner Phillip Burnett Jr. and Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman.
Coleman said, "We owe our gratitude to all Kentucky State Police troopers and officers who serve to protect the commonwealth. With each situation they respond to, they provide safety and empathy to their neighbors and community members."
Commissioner Burnett added, "Real leadership isn't about holding authority; it's about caring for those under your guidance. It's about inspiring and empowering others to achieve excellence through integrity. I'm proud of your dedication throughout this promotional process and look forward to seeing you move our agency forward."
The nineteen all received their promotions since November 1st, 2023.
