Thomas announces plans to run for Paducah City Commission

Dujuan Thomas announced his intentions Monday to run for Paducah City Commission.

In a news release Thomas said : " We have business minded people in the office, but we need someone with both business and legal expertise. The past few years have shown us that lack of legal knowledge leads to a rubble filled parking lot downtown. 

I'm just ready to bring real transparency and true accountability that our city has lacked. And to uplift those elected beside me so we can do what's best for the community. We don't need any yes men or women, but someone willing to ask the hard questions and stand for what the community wants. We serve the citizens.

My priorities include affordable housing, improvement to our overlooked communities/roadways, activities & opportunities for our youth, a solution for our flooding issues and more."
