State police seeking applicants for upcoming cadet class

Kentucky State Police Post 1 is seeking applicants to join Cadet Class 104.

The class is set to begin in January of 2024, with applications due by close of business on August 31.

Applicants will have the ability to apply for specific vacancies at the post of their choosing. Top performers are guarenteed a spot at the post of their choice.

Those accepted into Cadet Class 104 will earn $65,000 annually, have access to an improved retirement system with a sick leave buyback program, and the opportunity to work close to home.
