Semi crash injured 2, blocked I-24 in Christian County

A crash involving a semi injured two people Sunday and blocked I-24 in Christian County.

According to WKDZ, Christian County Sheriff's deputies said that the westbound semi driven by John Cummings ran off the side of the interstate and overturned. The truck came to rest blocking both lanes and the emergency lane of I-24 near the 85-mile marker.

Cummings and his passenger, Gary Brown, were taken to Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville for treatment of their injuries.

The interstate was blocked for several hours for the cleanup.
