Boaz woman charged with drug possession after stop

A Boaz woman was charged with drug possession after a traffic stop on Wednesday.

A deputy with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Kayla Throgmorton along Brewers Highway on Wednesday for a traffic violation. During the stop, methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were located.

Throgmorton was arrested and charged with possession of meth and marijuana.
