Illinois man killed in semi crash in Crittenden County 

A semi crash along US 60 in Crittenden County claimed the life of an Illinois man. 

Kentucky State Police said that the crash occurred at about 11 p.m. near the Rush Creek Bridge at the Marion eastern city limit. Troopers said 61-year-old Shawn G. Colman of Clay County, Illinois was driving a tractor-trailer when the truck struck a utility pole and overturned. The Crittenden County Coroner pronounced Colman dead at the scene.  

Kentucky Utilities replaced the utility pole. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said they reopened the roadway and cleared the scene just after 7 a.m.
