Three-week paving project starts next week on Jefferson Street

On Monday, crews will begin the milling and paving of a significant and busy stretch of Jefferson Street and West Jefferson Street. The work will extend from the Joe Clifton Drive intersection west to Pines Road.

The Pines Road intersection is not included in the project which will take approximately two to three weeks.

Residents are requested to not park on the street while milling and paving is going on. Crews will work to maintain access to residents and provide one lane of traffic flow; but there may be brief times when traffic may need to detour.
