The search of a home last week led to the arrest of a Paducah woman on a warrant and drug charges.

On November 4, McCracken County deputies and detectives assisted the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole in searching a home on South 22nd Street where 21-year-old Abby M. Hammonds was reportedly staying.

Hammonds is currently being supervised by the Office of Probation and Parole stemming from an unrelated 2019 felony conviction for receiving stolen property.

During a search of Hammonds' bedroom, authorities reportedly found small amounts of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. In addition, deputies say  Hammonds had an active warrant out of Graves County for violating a pretrial diversion regarding her 2019 conviction for receiving stolen property.

Hammonds was served with the warrant and charged with possession of meth, marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia, and failure to notify DOT of an address change.
