Graves County injury crash damages utilities

A crash with injuries in Graves County blocked traffic on Saturday. 

According to the Graves County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred near the intersection of KY 339 and KY 408 just south of Lowes. Deputies said that a truck driven by 70-year-old Trent Snead of Fancy Farm turned into the path of another truck driven by 52-year-old Barry Burnett of Mayfield. Burnett's truck was pulling a trailer with a skid-steer.

The collision sent Burnett's truck off the road and through a utility pole.  

Burnett was taken by ambulance to Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. Snead was taken to meet an Air Evac helicopter at the former Lowes Elementary School. From there he was flown to an out-of-state hospital for treatment.
