The McCracken County Sheriff's Office is seeking to find a West Paducah man on animal cruelty charges.

On March 31st, investigators started looking into the case of animal cruelty and torture.  They went to a Woodville Road home where 66-year-old David Howery was contacted.

Eighteen dogs were found inside the home living in deplorable conditions.  One was euthanized on the scene with others found in crates in the main areas of the home, which was infested with fleas and rodents.

The dogs, 32 in all, were in need of serious medical care and treatment.  They were taken to the McCracken County Humane Society.

However, the search is on for Howery.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the McCracken County Sheriff's Office.
